Classified by the Quebec’s ministry of Culture and designated National Historic Site by the Minister of Canadian Heritage.
Situated on the prestigious Grande Allée road in Quebec stands a remarkably preserved 19th century cottage surrounded by a breathtaking garden retreat.
A guided tour of this charming house and garden will thoroughly explain the history of the Stuart family and its authentic decor, which represented the way of life of the Anglophone middle-class of Quebec at the beginning of the 20th century.
In this intimate domestic setting, you will get a chance experience tea-time at the Stuart’s, accompanied by some delightful lemon cake.
Property of le Conseil des monuments et sites du Québec, the Henry-Stuart House and its garden are classified cultural property of Quebec and Canada. Guided tours of the house are offered during the summer.
Tea and home-made lemon cake are served during the one-hour visit.

Visitors are requested to arrive a few minutes before the hour.
